Nina Birhanu Teffera
She is the Founder and International Coordinator of BridgeMed.
With over four years of hands-on experience facilitating Polish medical missions in Ethiopia,
she brings a unique blend of cross-cultural understanding, field coordination, and strategic insight.
Her passion for bridging international expertise with local healthcare challenges is at the heart of BridgeMed's mission.

Polish Medical Team – Helping Hands
A volunteer-driven group of Polish healthcare professionals dedicated to providing free medical care in underserved regions. With a strong focus on humanitarian outreach, the team organizes and participates in international medical missions, offering essential healthcare services, and supporting local communities with compassion and expertise. Oczy Etiopii (Eyes of Ethiopia)
Oczy Etiopii is a Polish initiative dedicated to combating preventable blindness in Ethiopia since 2011. Through sight-restoring surgeries, eye care outreach, and support for underserved communities, the project has helped transform the lives of individuals in many of Ethiopia’s most remote areas. With a deep commitment to medical solidarity and human dignity, Oczy Etiopii continues to bring light and hope to those in need.
Open Wings Foundation
Open Wings Foundation is dedicated to public benefit initiatives, with a mission to support education, healthcare, and the basic living needs of underserved communities around the world. Through organizational, financial, and legal assistance, the foundation works to promote equal opportunities and improve quality of life.
